PortaPower (HK) Limited was founded in 1992 with a mission of manufacturing and marketing high quality rechargeable batteries and related products to the customers worldwide, with special emphasis on the North American and European markets. Headquartered in Hong Kong, it has offices, laboratories and factories in Hong Kong, China and Canada. The company has world-wide staff of about 2000. Its factory in Shenzhen is ISO 9001 certified, and has a production capacity of over 1,000,000 units per month, with close to a thousand product models. PortaPower manufactures replacement batteries and also manufactures to exacting OEM requirements, its products bear some of the world’s most prestigious brands, including Duracell, Energizer, Rayovac and others.

PortaPower has highly efficient production and assembly facilities with the most modern equipment. Additionally, PortaPower has in-house machine tooling, CNC mold producing workshops and injection molding lines to ensure the timeliest response to rapidly changing market needs.

PortaPower invests heavily on research and development. Its experienced R&D teams keep PortaPower in the forefront of battery technology. They have designed a wide range of products with a high degree of host-compatibility.

Among PortaPower's leading products are battery packs for notebook computers, camcorders and digital cameras. The lithium-ion cells used in these battery packs are procured from the most reputable manufacturers in Japan and China.
